Chess Sites of the World

I am collecting a list of all the public chess sites in the world.

Streets, Parks, Beaches, Bookstores and Cafe's

If you know of any not listed below or can correct or refine my information please drop me a line at billtomlinson@mac.com

I could use a lot of information here. It will get better as I get more information. I could use your help.

These places should be hassle free, no notice required, drop in places. If they are not that way, please let me know .

The first list here is a list of unorganized places where chess just happens. I call them 'hangouts'. In general, they do not happen on the grounds of a formal chess club. However, many players have sent me chess club meeting places. Although it's not alway easy to draw a line between the two, I try.

The Chess Clubs are listed after the Hangout list.

Chess Clubs

Athough some sites have membership fees, I don't list a site if it requires a membership. I do sometimes list sites with one time charges. At this time I have started putting in links. I also put in e-mail addresses if you need more site information so that people. This policy may change. I cannot be very sure that these events are still happening since they are not natural, but instead are sponsored events.
